Catch the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions, the Boston Bruins take on the Detroit Red Wings live at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts this Friday at 1:00pm.

The Bruins are currently standing first in the Northeast Division with 24 points, 12 wins and 7 loses in their 19 games played. In the Eastern Conference Boston is sitting third under the Pittsburgh Penguins (12-6-3) and the Florida Panthers (11-6-3).

The Detroit Red Wings are currently in third in the Central Division of the Western Conference with 11 wins, 7 loses and 1 overtime win, and sixth in the conference. Ahead of the Red Wings are the Minnesota Wild (12-5-3), the Chicago Blackhawks (12-6-3), the San Jose Sharks (12-5-1), the Nashville Predators (10-5-4) and the Dallas Stars (12-8-0).

Last season, the Red Wings defeated the Bruins in back to back matchups on February 13^th and 15^th. This is the first matchup for the two teams since the Bruins have brought home the Stanley Cup.
