Boston Bruins vs Detroit Red Wings

Catch the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions, the Boston Bruins take on the Detroit Red Wings live at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts this Friday at 1:00pm.
The Bruins are currently standing first in the Northeast Division with 24 points, 12 wins and 7 loses in their 19 games played. In the Eastern Conference Boston is sitting third under the Pittsburgh Penguins (12-6-3) and the Florida Panthers (11-6-3).
The Detroit Red Wings are currently in third in the Central Division of the Western Conference with 11 wins, 7 loses and 1 overtime win, and sixth in the conference. Ahead of the Red Wings are the Minnesota Wild (12-5-3), the Chicago Blackhawks (12-6-3), the San Jose Sharks (12-5-1), the Nashville Predators (10-5-4) and the Dallas Stars (12-8-0).
Last season, the Red Wings defeated the Bruins in back to back matchups on February 13th and 15th. This is the first matchup for the two teams since the Bruins have brought home the Stanley Cup.

Wicked, declared “The Best Musical of the Decade” by Entertainment Weekly is on tour and playing this weekend at the Des Moines, IA Civic Center. The tour will be in DeMoines through December 4th, and then will move on to Los Angeles, CA.
Wicked, winner of 35 major awards including the Grammy Award and three Tony Awards is the untold story of the witches of Oz. The excellently produced “prequel” to The Wizard of Oz tells the story long before Dorothy drops in to Oz. Wicked focuses on the remarkable odyssey of two girls, and how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
Wicked has become hugely popular due to its unique twist on a familiar story, its rousing musical numbers and its heartwarming message.
